This is so Cool... In Massage School, we learned about the 14 "Meridians" in the Body (based on Eastern/ Chinese Medicine).
In addition to learning about these "energy lines / Meridians", we learned "Shiatsu", which focuses on the "Points" along these Meridians which affect the Energy Flow throughout our bodies, along with the "Organs/ Systems" in our bodies.
Using "Pressure" on these "points" allows the "Chi Energy" to be stimulated, helping to increase the flow or unblock the flow of energy related to the various "points".
Acu-Pressure, Acupuncture, Shiatsu, and other "Eastern Medicine" techniques utilize these Meridians & Points!
