Great news! NEMS is honored to receive the 2025 Community Health Quality Recognition badges — including several new awards — from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) for our clinical care quality and patient service delivery in 2024!

This year, we were recognized with the following badges:
• Health Center Quality Leader – Silver Award
Placing NEMS in the top 20% of nearly 1,400 health centers across the U.S.
• Improving Health Care Access
For increasing total patients by at least 5%
• Advancing Health Information Technology (HIT) for Quality
For leveraging technology to improve quality, access, and care coordination

关于东北医疗中心
东北医疗中心（North East Medical Services, NEMS）是加州三藩市湾区其中一所最大的社区医疗中心，主要服务对象是缺乏医疗服务的社群。东北医疗中心为来自不同背景的人士（大部份为低收入、有资格享有医疗补助计划 (Medicaid) 以及英语能力有限的人士）提供全面的医疗服务。东北医疗中心的医师及职员会使用英语、粤语、国语、台山话、越南语、缅甸语、他加禄语、西班牙语、以及印度语等多种语言或方言为不同文化及语言背景的人士服务。目前，东北医疗中心在三藩市湾区设有 28 间诊所。 2024 年，东北医疗中心在内华达州拉斯维加斯设立新诊所－行健医疗中心 (Go East Medical Services, GEMS)，该诊所将于 2025 年 6 月正式更名为「东北医疗中心－拉斯维加斯」。

We’re changing our name — but not our care!

Go East Medical Services is officially changing our name to "North East Medical Services"! While our name and branding are getting a new look (you’ll start to see changes rolling out very soon), our commitment to you remains exactly the same:

✅ Same quality care
✅ Plus more service offerings and resources coming soon

About North East Medical Services
North East Medical Services (NEMS) is one of the largest non-profit community health centers in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, targeting medically underserved populations. NEMS offers comprehensive health care services to a variety of patients, a majority of whom are low-income, access Medicaid, and are limited English proficient. NEMS providers and staff offer linguistically competent services in many languages and dialects other than English, including Cantonese, Mandarin, Toishan, Vietnamese, Burmese, Tagalog, Spanish, and Hindi. NEMS operates 28 clinics in the San Francisco Bay Area. In 2024, NEMS opened a new clinic in Las Vegas, Nevada, called "Go East Medical Services" or GEMS. The site will be renamed as "North East Medical Services - Las Vegas" starting in June 2025.
