Did you know...

928 nuclear tests were conducted at the Nevada Test Site.

An important part of the nuclear age occurred at the Nevada Test Site (NTS), now known as the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS). Between 1951 and 1992, a total of 928 nuclear tests were conducted at the NTS, 828 of which were underground.

Retired and former Nevada Test Site workers can receive free medical screening through the Workers Health Protection Program (WHPP). This program is designed to help past workers monitor their health and access important early‑detection services related to their time at the Test Site.
