Get Results Personal Training My name is Shawn Cunningham, insured & certified personal trainer, Entrepreneur, and business owner. I launched/ created my own co. called Get Results Training.

I've been a personal trainer for several years, and have worked for many popular franchise gyms in Las Vegas. I have trained thousands of clients throughout both of these gyms, and have changed so many lives. What I believe that makes me so successful as a trainer is my ability to adapt to train any client from a sport specific athlete, to a weightloss client, to a 65 year old woman with cystic fibrosis, but also my passion to help people succeed! There is no better happiness that I get when a client reaches their goal & holds their head up a little higher every time they come in through my doors. RDLs stretch the hamstrings, but stretching isn’t what builds muscle. If you want real hamstring growth, you need knee flexion…not hip hinging!

Your calves, specifically your gastrocnemius, responds better to hypertrophy with fast twitch movements, not slow twitch. Genetics are everything when it comes to having predisposed larger calf muscles, no matter what you do. 1️⃣ Long muscle belly + Short Achilles → best potential, full calves
2️⃣ Long muscle belly + Long Achilles → good potential
3️⃣ Short muscle belly + Short Achilles → moderate potential
4️⃣ Short muscle belly + Long Achilles → lowest potential, hardest to grow.

Stop doing OH presses, bio mechanically, your shoulder is not meant to press anything above your head, especially heavy loads. The minimal benefit is not worth the risk & effort.

Hate to break it to you guys, the rear delts are being overloaded, much more than you realize, because YOU ARE UNKNOWINGLY replicating a lot of the same movement patterns in the gym. Can you use these compound movements to build the lats, sure…but you’re gonna have to put hell of a lot more energy, and stress on your body. If you understand the lever, you control the results.

Numero uno on the worst bicep exercise to cause biceps tears. Please think twice, hopefully this video provides value. Always Late phase loaded your biceps, where your strongest. Also, stop locking out on the bottom, you get full benefit with 80% range of motion, you DO NOT NEED 100% range of motion. For more information about 1 on 1 in person training, or online…DM me.
