April is Parkinson’s Disease Awareness Month
This month, we join hands to raise awareness for those living with Parkinson's Disease, a condition that affects millions of individuals and their families worldwide. Every day, people with Parkinson's face challenges that touch every part of their lives, from simple movements to the strength it takes to keep going.
At Homewatch CareGivers of Las Vegas, we recognize the courage of those living with Parkinson’s, as well as the unwavering support of caregivers, families, and communities. We are inspired by their resilience, and we stand beside them in the journey toward greater understanding, compassion, and hope.
What is Parkinson’s Disease? Parkinson’s Disease is a progressive neurological condition that affects the brain's ability to control movement, leading to symptoms like tremors, stiffness, and difficulty with coordination. It’s a complex disease, but one that can be met with hope, love, and the strength of a supportive community.
How Can We All Help?
Share Awareness – Educate those around you about Parkinson's Disease to help break the silence and stigma.
Show Compassion – A simple act of kindness can make a world of difference to someone living with Parkinson’s.
Support Research – Every donation, every effort, helps us get closer to finding better treatments and, one day, a cure.
Let’s come together with love, empathy, and determination this month. Together, we can show those living with Parkinson's that they are not alone.
