Dr. Anne O'Neill is a fellowship trained breast surgeon who comes to Las Vegas from England where she worked at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London for many years. This hospital was the first in the world dedicated to the study and treatment of cancer and is Europe's largest comprehensive cancer center with the Breast Unit being one of the largest in the UK seeing around 1,000 new breast cancer referrals per year.

Dr. O'Neill received her medical degree at the Royal Free and University College Hospital Medical School in London and completed a General Surgery Residency at Morristown Memorial Hospital in New Jersey. At the end of her residency she received an award for highest academic performance and devotion to patient care.

Dr. O'Neill has completed Breast Fellowship training in both the United States and Great Britain. She completed a fellowship in breast surgery at the prestigious Memorial Sloan Kettering Institute in New York City. She was among the first surgeons in the United States to receive accreditation as a Breast Surgeon by the American Society of Surgical Oncologists.

Dr. O'Neill continued with a 2 year Fellowship in Breast Oncoplastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Royal Marsden and is one of only a small group of Breast Surgeons in the UK who are dually trained. She returned to the States in the fall of 2008 after obtaining an "0" visa which is granted to individuals with extraordinary ability in their chosen field.

Dr. O'Neill's extensive fellowship training at the world's top cancer institutions has afforded her clinical expertise in both benign and malignant breast disease and in the treatment of complex and rare cancer presentations. Her surgical expertise is that she is able to integrate plastic surgery techniques with oncologic breast cancer procedures. She is only one of two Fellowship Trained Breast Surgeons in Nevada at this present time.

She is a proud participant in The Breast Center at Sunrise, the first comprehensive breast center in Nevada to be certified as a Quality Participant by the National Consortium of Breast Centers.
