He completed residency training in family medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center in New York before relocating to Henderson, Nevada, to be closer to his family. During his residency, Dr. Kim trained extensively in many different medical specialties, allowing him to make connections between symptoms and conditions that specialists may not see.
