Peeing every hour? 🚩 Planning your day around bathrooms? 🚩 Or always going “just in case”? 🚩

These habits might seem harmless, but they can actually train your bladder to signal urgency too early. This leads to frequent trips, leaks, and that constant awareness of where the nearest bathroom is.

✨ Normal urinary frequency is about every 2-4 hours
✨ “Just in case” p*eing can make things worse
✨ Getting up to p*e multiple times a night isn’t normal
✨ You should be able to delay a bathroom trip for 30 min with a full bladder

Your bladder is meant to fill gradually and communicate clearly with your brain and pelvic floor. When that system gets off track, symptoms show up, but the good news is, it’s retrainable.

Pelvic floor physical therapy can help you:
✔️ Reduce urgency and frequency
✔️ Improve bladder control
✔️ Break the cycle of unhelpful habits

You don’t have to accept bladder symptoms as your “normal.” There’s a better way.

📍If you’re in Las Vegas and dealing with this, we’re here to help.

Leaking during workouts is more common than you think, but that doesn’t mean it’s normal or something you have to live with.

Being told to “just p*e before you start” or to do endless Kegels doesn’t address the root problem. And if it’s not working for you, you’re not the problem… the advice is.
Your body is telling you something. With the right approach, leaking is something you can actually improve, not just manage. 💪

Things to remember about pelvic floor dysfunction:

symptoms do not confirm the problem is caused by weakness

neuromuscular stimulation has level B evidence (not bad) but pelvic floor muscle training has level A evidence - why choose the lower evidence tool only?

passive interventions are good for short term relief and may be part of a rehab program, but they rarely address root cause.

Providers offering ANY pelvic floor intervention should be screening to determine the intervention appropriate for you- If you have a history of pelvic pain, that needs to be discussed and you should likely be referred out.

If you have access to a trained pelvic rehab therapist who can complete a pelvic floor muscle exam on you, that is the gold standard for MOST people. This is not the same as your pap smear/annual gyn exam.
