Fascia gets tight because your body has been doing the best it can to keep you moving.

Sometimes it’s tight because of what you’re doing now —
long hours sitting, stress, repetitive movement, workouts, or daily habits.

I hear this constantly in my practice:
“I just need to stretch more.”
“If I stretched every day, I wouldn’t be so tight.”
“I know my pain would go away if I were more flexible.”

But here’s the problem with that belief:
If stretching was the answer, it would’ve already worked.

Most people are not tight because they don’t stretch enough.

They’re tight because their fascia — the connective tissue that wraps the entire body — is restricted, dehydrated, or stuck in an old compensation pattern.
You can’t stretch your way out of a fascial restriction.
You can temporarily feel better…

And surgeries, while life-changing, don’t always reset the patterns your body built to protect itself.

This client came to me with:
• a left hip replacement
• a past injury his body never fully recovered from
