A Sweet Adventure at Cake World!
We had the most delicious day thanks to our friends at Cake World! They invited us into their bakery for an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience, and it was a treat from start to finish.

Our residents got to tour the kitchen, see how the magic happens, and even enjoy a special cake tasting. From fluffy layers to creamy frosting, every bite was better than the last!

A few weeks ago, we welcomed Richard into our community—and he’s already become a great friend to all! To officially celebrate his move, we hosted a heartwarming housewarming party with his wonderful family, who traveled from all over to be here.

The event was filled with thoughtful details, including custom shirts made by Richard’s family for our residents that said “Home Sweet Home” in Japanese. We enjoyed delicious food from a local Thai restaurant, homemade dishes prepared with love by his family, and sweet treats donated by Cake World.

The talented Johnny Bird kept the good vibes going with fantastic live music.

Happy Earth Day from Escalante at The Lakes!
Earth Day is a time to reflect on the beauty of our planet and the importance of taking care of it—for ourselves and future generations. At Escalante, we celebrated by planting a Desert Willow tree in front of our building, generously donated by the Arbor Day Foundation.

Our residents gathered to mark the occasion and share the joy of giving back to the Earth. We’re especially thankful for Gus, our wonderful Sales Director, who handled all the heavy lifting and digging to plant our tree—thank you, Gus!

We’re still choosing the perfect name for our new leafy friend, and we can’t wait to watch it grow and thrive as part of our community.

Today was a special day at Escalante. The students at Faith Lutheran Middle School came to visit us, bringing so much energy to our community. The students played board games with our residents, creating laughter, connection, and new friendships across generations. We ended the visit with a huge, fun-filled game of Bingo, with everyone joining in—residents and students alike! Thank you, Faith Lutheran, for making our day so memorable.
