Here's a general post-op recovery overview to help you and your caregiver feel more prepared:

📅 Week 1 — Focus on rest. Manage pain as directed. Monitor the incision for any early signs of infection (redness, swelling, discharge).

📅 Week 2 — Begin gentle movement if cleared. Keep dressings clean and changed on schedule.

📅 Weeks 3–4 — Activity level increases. Attend your follow-up appointment. Ask your provider when you can resume normal activities.

📅 Week 6+ — Most patients are cleared for full activity, though this varies by procedure.
