It is the mission of Creative Behavioral Connections to provide quality evaluation and treatment services to individuals and their families in our community with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Creative Behavioral Connections understands the challenges individuals with autism spectrum disorders and their families face during the span of a lifetime and support each individual in the process of growing and healing behaviorally, socially, emotionally, physically, and mentally to overcome those challenges.

Jaz has been doing an incredible job, consistently reading and implementing goals as written while ensuring meaningful progress for her clients. She excels at pairing and approaching new clients with enthusiasm. Recently, she expanded her availability to take on evening sessions at the center and has done an amazing job adapting to these new clients. Jaz also participated in the Safety-Care training with Omar and Corey, showing great energy and attentiveness. Her dedication and positive attitude make her a valuable part of our team—keep up the great work, Jaz!

A little bit about Jaz:

I’ve been an RBT for a short period of time but I have enjoyed every moment working hands on with all my clients. The work we do is important and life changing. I hope to inspire all of my clients to be themselves and know that they are different but not less. I have my bachelors degree in psychology and I have always had an interest in human behavior. I am originally from San Diego, I have two dogs and I love to play soccer.

We’re excited to recognize Kate as an ABA All-Star! She’s consistently done a great job applying feedback to improve her work. Kate also plays a key role in assisting with team trainings—she not only creates and organizes the PowerPoints for the whole team, but still manages to handle her own responsibilities effectively.

Kate’s DTT trials and data collection with clients have been observed to be really solid, showcasing her dedication and attention to detail. Most recently, she made a new clients first day run smoothly, ensuring that both the client and his parents felt comfortable and supported. The way she debriefs parents is thoughtful, reassuring, and shows her care for the family’s experience. Kate’s hard work and positive attitude make a real difference for our team and clients!

A little bit about Kate:

Hey, I’m Kate! I’m all about sports, music, and making memories—played college softball. Working with kids and watching them learn and grow is one of my biggest passions! 📚 I’ve got a bachelor’s in Criminal Justice with a minor in Spanish 🇪🇸, and I’m currently working on my master’s in ABA. Oh, and I’m a proud mama to the sweetest little girl! 💕

We’d like to recognize Aniana as an ABA All-Star! Aniana recently took over running our Wednesday SBT group and has done an outstanding job making the curriculum both fun and engaging for the clients. She has created a solid structure for the group while consistently providing positive reinforcement throughout each session. In addition, Aniana continues to excel in running group sessions with our morning clients, ensuring that both clients receive equal attention and support while keeping the atmosphere upbeat and enjoyable. Since joining CBC in 2021, Aniana has consistently demonstrated growth and dedication, and we’re so grateful to have her as part of our team. Thank you, Aniana, for your continued hard work and commitment!

A little bit about Aniana:

Hi, I’m Yanna! I’ve been with CBC for four years and have a Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis. I’m currently working toward becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. I’ve always had a passion for working with kids and take pride in being a part of their growth and development. Seeing their progress and helping them reach new milestones is what drives me every day. Outside of work, I’m a huge dog lover, and enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I’m excited to continue making a positive impact in the field of ABA and helping children thrive!

ABA All-Star Shoutout! We’re thrilled to announce that Alexis is an ABA All-Star! Since joining our center team, Alexis has made a fantastic impact. From seamlessly helping her coworkers to quickly mastering the programs for each client, her dedication and enthusiasm shine through. Alexis brings a fun and engaging approach to learning, which our kiddos absolutely love. She’s also been using the safety care strategies of Help, Prompt, and Wait with great effectiveness, skillfully redirecting behaviors and ensuring a supportive environment for everyone. Her warm and loving presence has made a big difference here at the center, and we genuinely appreciate all her hard work and positive energy. Thank you, Alexis, for everything you do—we’re so lucky to have you on our team!

I’m a little kid at heart with big adult responsibilities! There are few things I take too seriously, but one is my role as a behavior technician. In fact, I take it so seriously I’m currently attending ASU to pursue becoming a BCBA. Children are the future, and what’s more important than helping little voices become big voices? In my “free time” lol I do a lot of little kid stuff with my son and spend precious time with friends and family. I am also an avid reader and writer.

A little about Juan:

I started my RBT journey in 2022, and I am very honored to serve our community and make a difference in the kiddo’s lives by making learning enjoyable. I am currently enrolled at UNLV to start my journey of becoming a Clinical Psychologist. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music and spending time with my family and friends.

Meet our team:

Alissa Gomez is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of Nevada. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Phoenix and her master’s degree in special education at Arizona State University. Alissa began her career as a Registered Behavioral Technician in 2019 and found a love for ABA therapy. She became an RBT trainer and an apprentice before becoming a BCBA in 2024. Alissa has experience working with children ages 2-16 in home, center based, educational settings and community settings.

Meet our team:

Louie Coruzzolo is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of Nevada. He received his bachelor’s degree in Pre-Professional Biology from the University of Nevada Las Vegas and his master’s degree in special education from Arizona State University. Since 2017, Louie has worked with children, adolescents, and adults with autism and other developmental and intellectual disabilities. Throughout his career, he has worked in settings such as: day habilitation, center-based services, and home-based services.

A little about James:
I have always been interested in sports, gaming and also standup comedy! I got into ABA because in college I took one course and it peeked my interest right away and decided to pursue it after college. I think I have always been a kid at heart but being able to work with kiddos allows me to be myself and show everyone my personality and build a great relationship with not only the kids but also my coworkers as well!
