Join our dynamic Bariatric/Metabolic Team as a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) at CCA! This role is an exciting blend of surgical and medical management services, offering you the chance to make a significant impact on patients' lives. You’ll be at the forefront of comprehensive care for those seeking or recovering from bariatric surgery, as well as those on a journey of metabolic and medical weight management.
Your day-to-day will be filled with diverse responsibilities, from conducting in-depth patient assessments and interpreting diagnostic tests to prescribing cutting-edge treatments and developing personalized management plans. You'll have the opportunity to create tailored nutritional plans alongside our skilled dietitians, ensuring each patient has the best chance for success. As a key player in preoperative evaluations and postoperative care, you’ll guide patients through every step of their bariatric surgery journey, educating them on options, risks, benefits, and crucial lifestyle changes.
Effective communication and collaboration are at the heart of this role. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including surgeons, dietitians, behavioral health providers, and pharmacists, to deliver holistic, patient-centered care. Your clear clinical documentation and strong interpersonal skills will ensure seamless care coordination and support for your patients.
We’re looking for a candidate with a robust clinical foundation, excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, and a genuine passion for patient-centered care. You must hold an active NYS NP/PA license and have at least one year of experience in a similar role.
