The CSEA Employee Benefit Fund (EBF) was established in 1979. The EBF delivers a variety of health-related benefits, including dental and vision coverage.

Today is the 47th anniversary of the EBF! The agreement between New York State and CSEA President Bill McGowan was signed 47 years ago today, May 4, 1979. Originally, the EBF only covered New York State members. Coverage for Local government and retirees came later. As of last week’s count, our membership now totals over 301,000. We look forward to continuing to provide quality benefits to our members and their families!

At 3PM today the EBF will close our office in order to complete necessary upgrades to our systems. We will resume normal operations tomorrow.

Friendly Reminder for any EBF members with our Prescription Drug Co-Pay Reimbursement Benefit! March is coming quick and that means the final deadline for Prescription Drug Co-Pay Reimbursement Claim Forms is around the corner. Forms for 2025 must be submitted BEOFRE March 31st so make sure to mail in your form and itemized printout from your pharmacy. Forms can be found on our website in the 'Download Forms' tab. FOR NON STATE EMPLOYEES: Check your contract or use the Benefit Search Tool on our website to determine eligibility.
