Our last day of SNF Week began with Morning Brew, featuring hot chocolate, coffee, and tea, and ended with an Ice Cream Cart filled with Dairy Queen ice-cream donated by Dairy Queen in Latrobe. Ice Cream Truck music played through the halls as residents selected their sweet treat! Thank you to everyone who made our week special and helped Loyalhanna bloom!

For Wednesday of SNF Week our theme is "Planting Seeds". Our residents enjoyed a lively game of bingo, planted and decorated their own flowers, and played "What's In The Box?" Our staff enjoyed a potluck and little flowers of their own. We are certainly blooming at LCC!

LCC's second day of SNF Week, "Growing Together", began with our residents getting their muscles ready for our big Spring Fling! Catered by AHN and Amedisys and with an incredible DJ from 365 Hospice, we had an absolute blast dancing, singing, and sharing laughter. Our hearts and smiles certainly grew together.

Amy, our wonderful Activity Assistant, won our Tuesday raffle prize to Idlewild! Good job Amy!

Our theme for the first day of SNF Week is Blooming with Kindness. Our staff wrote a bouquet of appreciation for our LCC community and we enjoyed a wonderful King's Family Foodtruck with classic Frownie Brownies. Our residents enjoyed some fresh air, popsicle sticks, and said hello to some caterpillar friends who will one day grace our garden as butterflies. Residents then wrote a card to each hall and presented them to our nursing staff, letting our wonderful staff know how much we care. We have certainly bloomed with kindness today!
