This weekend, while we celebrate the "unofficial" start of summer, we take time to pause and reflect on those who have so dutifully served our country over these monumental last 250 years. We honor and remember in a special way the following veterans who we were privileged to serve over this past year. Our hearts are with their families as this Memorial Day brings a new, special significance in their lives.

"We may all be cooking for one, but none of us have to walk through grief alone." That was one of the many meaningful themes shared during last night’s fifth Beyond the Plate: Cooking for One hosted at the Latrobe Art Center!

As participants prepared two meals side by side, there were special moments of conversation, laugher, and a few tears. Know someone who may benefit from a program like this? Share this post or encourage them to join us at a future event. Our doors are open to anyone looking for support and connection. We're always honored to create and facilitate our aftercare programs for you and your families.

Caring for our community means sharing resources that may help protect the people we love most. We encourage families and caregivers to learn more about Project Lifesaver and share this important information with others who may benefit.

Project Lifesaver is a program that helps quickly locate loved ones with cognitive conditions who may wander, such as Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Autism or Down syndrome.

👩‍👩‍👦 How it works:
✔️ Participants wear a small wristwatch-style transmitter that emits a unique signal.
✔️ If a participant goes missing, search teams use their signal receiving equipment to track and locate the missing person.

➡️ Caregivers can now enroll online here:

Help us spread the word by sharing this post so more families know about this lifesaving program! 💙
