We were blessed to celebrate a meaningful milestone at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery as Juan Areche, Mausoleum Manager, marked 20 years of faithful service.

Surrounded by colleagues, we gave thanks for Juan’s dedication, and the superb care he brings each day to families during some of life’s most sacred and tender moments. Catholic Cemeteries are affiliated with Catholic Health Services.

Juan’s two decades of service reflect the compassion, dignity, and commitment that continue to define Catholic Health Services. We are deeply grateful for all Juan has given to this ministry and congratulate him on 20 remarkable years. Know Juan? Leave him a shout out!

Sister Mary Chidi Nwanya’s retirement after more than 30 years of faithful service is a beautiful reminder of what defines Catholic Health Services: compassion, humility, prayer, and a steadfast commitment to those entrusted to our care. For 40 years, Catholic Health Services has carried forward the healing ministry of Christ across South Florida.

We are deeply grateful to Sister Mary for her years of devoted service and for the compassionate, prayerful witness she shared with residents, families, and staff.

The Meals of Mercy Food Drive, originally established by the Immaculate Conception Catholic parish in Hialeah, was introduced to our Catholic Health Services family by Cristina Sierra, executive director at Saint Catherine’s West Rehabilitation Hospital in Hialeah Gardens.

The hospital provides specialized inpatient rehabilitation for individuals recovering from acute or chronic conditions that may cause temporary or permanent disability. Care is especially suited for recovery from stroke, spinal cord injury, head or brain injury, amputation, orthopedic conditions, neurologic conditions, and vestibular disorders.

The Meals of Mercy Food Drive encourages almsgiving during Lent and supports those less fortunate in the community served by the Immaculate Conception parish, a true lifesaver for those in need.

This wonderful effort reflects our Team’s commitment to the wellbeing of our community.

We appreciate our staff for generously donating their time, resources, and talents. Your dedication and teamwork made this initiative possible, and your contributions truly make a difference.
