🎉 Join Us for IBD Awareness Night with the Minnesota Wild! 💜🏒
Sunday, December 14 • Wild vs. Bruins
We’re thrilled to team up with the NHL for a special night dedicated to Crohn’s & Colitis awareness! This year’s event features a post-game photo opportunity with Bruins player Michael Eyssimont, who recently opened up about his Crohn’s disease journey. Diagnosed while at St. Cloud State, Mikey has gone on to shine in the NHL — now skating with the Bruins and earning gold with Team USA at the 2025 IIHF World Championships! ⭐️🥇
Before the puck drops, join us for an exclusive pre-game program with Melissa Parnagian, who leads league-wide efforts to elevate players’ community impact and manages initiatives like the King Clancy Memorial Trophy and the NHL Player Inclusion Coalition. 🙌
🎁 All attendees who join the pre-game program and purchase tickets through our link will be entered to win:
• 🏒 Signed pucks
• 👀 A spot for two to watch warmups from the penalty box
• ❄️ Two spots for the first-intermission ice cruiser
🎟️ Use promo code: CROHNS — a portion of each ticket supports the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation. https://am.ticketmaster.com/wild/promotional-page?id=MTE0NQ==

🚨 Reminder: Minneapolis Residents...Your Voice Is Needed! 🚨

Tomorrow, 11/19, the Minneapolis City Council will hear from community members about priorities for the 2026 City Budget — and this is a key moment to advocate for more public restrooms in Minneapolis. 🚻✨

If you’ve ever been impacted by the lack of restroom access (specifically in downtown Mpls), your story matters. Sharing your experience can help shape meaningful change. Comments should be about 2 minutes and can include data and personal stories — like:

🗣️ “I live with colitis and need easy access to restrooms. Because of limited public restrooms downtown, I avoid spending time in that part of the city.”
🗣️ “I’m transit-dependent and my two-hour commute has no restrooms along the route. Detours to find one have made me late to work.”

There are 3 ways to share your comment:

1️⃣ Attend the Public Hearing
📅 Wednesday, November 19
📍 Room 350, Public Service Center
250 S. 4th St., Minneapolis, MN 55415
🕑 Sign up to speak for 2 minutes

2️⃣ Submit a comment online (https://www.minneapolismn.gov/government/city-council/meetings/public-comment/)
Select “Budget Committee” under “Where is the issue being considered?”
For “Subject or File Number,” enter:
➡️ 2026 City Budget: Public hearings (2025-01017) – Public Restrooms

3️⃣ Leave a voicemail for your Council Members
Find your representative and their office number on the City website. https://www.minneapolismn.gov/government/city-council/members/

Let’s come together to ensure downtown Minneapolis is accessible, welcoming, and equitable for all. 💙✊

What does IBD really look like? Let’s Go There. 💜

Crohn’s & Colitis Awareness Week is just around the corner— a time to shine a light on the real experiences behind Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. IBD doesn’t look like one thing — it shows up in millions of moments, messy, meaningful, and often invisible. It’s managing symptoms with quiet strength, Googling late-night questions you don’t ask out loud, mapping every bathroom on your route, canceling plans when you need rest, and celebrating the days you can show up.

Visit our Awareness Week page to explore resources, download the free Real Life with IBD Guide, make a donation, and share your story: https://bit.ly/3g2iLiV
