Love Thyself Wellness Center

Love Thyself Wellness Center We are a team of professionals, specialized in mental, physical, and spiritual wellbeing. We truly believe that you can find your inner love and peace.

Love Thyself Psychotherapy was created in 2017 by Laura's passion and love for psychology, spirituality, and healing. In an effort to provide an overall wellness approach, evaluating the needs in the community and by the grace of God, in the year 2020, Love Thyself expanded its services and was renamed Love Thyself Wellness Center. It is our hope that in your therapeutic sessions, you can find an

overall state of wellbeing. By integrating a body, mind, and spirit approach. We believe that loving yourself is crucial in order to heal wounds, pain, forgive, and move on, therefore we welcome you to embark on your own self-discovery. This process can be very rewarding! Our goal is to help you find your own strength and understand that you are a beautiful human being.

Today we honor Saint Dymphna, a reminder that even in suffering, there is hope, healing, and God’s tender care for the human heart. 💚

As the patron saint of mental and emotional wellness, St. Dymphna inspires us to seek peace, ask for help when needed, and remember that our struggles do not define us. Through faith, compassion, and community, healing is possible.

“Lord, through the intercession of St. Dymphna, bring comfort to the anxious, strength to the weary, and peace to every troubled heart.” ✨

Today we honor Our Lady of Fátima, a reminder of faith, prayer, peace, and trust in God even in times of uncertainty.

Her message continues to encourage us to slow down, reflect, and care not only for our spiritual life, but also for our hearts and minds. In a world that constantly demands more from us, may we remember the importance of finding moments of stillness, hope, and renewal.

May her example inspire us to live with compassion, faith, and peace toward ourselves and others.

Caregiver fatigue is more than physical tiredness. It’s the emotional, mental, and physical exhaustion that comes from constantly pouring into others while neglecting your own needs.

Many caregivers become so focused on being there for everyone else that they slowly lose touch with themselves. Over time, this can look like irritability, constant fatigue, feeling overwhelmed, difficulty resting, or even guilt when taking time for yourself.

Your body carries the tension. Your mind carries the pressure. And eventually, your spirit begins to feel depleted, too.

Rest is not selfish, and receiving care is not weakness. You deserve support just as much as the people you care for.

Do you identify with any of these symptoms? If you do, don’t hesitate to make an appointment with us.

We’re here for you.

Boundaries and walls are not the same though they can look similar from the outside.

A boundary is a healthy limit.
It says: “I can care about you and still protect my peace.”
It allows connection, but with clarity and respect.

A wall is emotional shutdown.
It says: “I don’t feel safe, so I’m closing off completely.”
It blocks not only harm but also intimacy and support.

Boundaries are built from self-awareness.
Walls are often built from past hurt.

One creates healthy relationships.
The other creates distance and isolation.

Do you tend to set boundaries or build walls?
