Pre-applications for Habitat for Humanity of Broward’s homeownership program are now open.

Three- and four-bedroom energy-efficient homes with garages, landscaped yards and modern kitchens are currently being built.

Applications will be open through March 31.

A failed IVF or IUI treatment is a loss like any other loss and it is ok to grieve and mourn that loss. You are grieving what could have been, the time spent, the money spent, and all the hopes and dreams you had. It’s ok to grieve!!!

Since this week is national infertility awareness.
Infertility is something you don't hear about, all the time. You always hear how easy it's to have a baby, you always hear how it happens so fast. But you don't hear about the downfalls with these family's
With infertility one in eight suffer from infertility, and 75% of Americans don't have IVF coverage. With that being said for these families to even have a small chance of bringing home a miracle it will cost them 15-20k just for IVF, and that's with the hope of that round of IVF working. That isn't talking about the time, and effort it takes beforehand.
So many things are causing these infertility issues such as ovulation disorder, uterine fibroids, and endometrial polyps, and also hormonal in balance. 7.4 million women, or 11.9% of women, have ever received any infertility services in their lifetime. (2006-2010 National Survey of Family Growth, CDC)
Infertility just doesn't affect women, it affects men also. Struggling to become parents affect both partners. Using medication, tracking ovulation, spending so much money on ways just to get that positive pregnancy test, while it's easy for some to be able to get pregnant naturally, it isn't easy for all. Even when you ask someone " when do you plan on having children?"
"Do you not want kids?" Sit back and think for a second maybe these couples are battling infertility, or even secondary infertility. I wished infertility and endometriosis and pcos was taught into schools maybe with the education maybe we will learn the signs sooner and maybe we could make a change. Just know infertility doesn't define who you are, and that pregnancy test doesn't define your strength.

Update: This will probably be my last update for a while as I plan to take the rest of the time to process everything with my family and close friends. This is the part of the process where everything becomes unknown. This when you did everything in your power and now it’s time for God to show and show out. This is when you realized that things are no longer in your control and you already planted that mustard seed!! Yesterday was my egg retrieval and they were able to collect 13 eggs!!! 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿 As of today 11 of them has been fertilized so the running joke is I have 11 babies on deck, lol!! The pain wasn’t too bad but I followed my doctor orders and took my Tylenol every 4 hours. Today was a much better day and I had very minimal pain. Please keep me and my family in your prayers as we continue our journey!!! Peace, blessings and love!!! ❤️❤️💫💫
