Policy and Procedures
My client expectations:
Sessions will begin and end at scheduled times. Sessions that begin late due to client fault, will end at the appointed time and are full price. Failure to provide such notice may result in charges of full price for the missed appointment, unless it can be filled. Emergency cancellations will be determined at the discretion of the practitioner. Payment is expected at the time of service or prior. Clients will be fully present and not under the influence of any substance. Clients will provide sufficient health history and assume the responsibility of informing the practitioner of any changes that may have occurred. Sexual harassment will not be tolerated. If the practitioner feels her personal safety is compromised, the session will end immediately. The practitioner has the right to report the actions of concern to the appropriate authorities. Clients are asked to practice good hygiene, having showered the same day as treatment. What clients can expect from me:
I will always offer an environment that will be a safe space for healing. Clients will be treated with respect and dignity. Personal and professional boundaries will be respected at all times. I will protect the privacy and confidentiality of each and every client. Upholding to HIPPA standards. I only perform service for which I am qualified, physically and emotionally able to do. I will refer clients to appropriate specialists when work outside of my scope of practice is needed or in the best interest of the clent. I will do my best to address the clients specific needs and customize my treatments to help clients obtain their goals for that session. All equipment and supplies are clean and safe. Clients will be appropriately draped with a linen or a towel at all times during the session. Only the parts of the body being worked on are to be exposed. I keep accurate records of services performed
Clients personal health information will not be shared without the signed consent of the client. Unless subpoenaed by the courts of law. I charge a fair price for my services. I accept cash and cards. I do not provide direct billing for insurance. I will do my best to return calls within 24 hours, during my normal business hours. Unless I am on vacation or taking sick leave. If I need to cancel an appointment, I will do so with 24 hours notice whenever possible. Safety Precautions:
Client screening and Intake: New clients are screened by phone and/or person prior to the first massage session. If at any time the practitioner feels unsafe or uncomfortable, she reserves the right to refuse service or stop the session at any time. Depending on the circumstances, a refund may or may not be available
Parking is available on the street. Be advised that these areas, including sidewalks may be icy in the winter months.
