There are 30 million Americans suffer from sleep apnea and half of them are unable to use CPAP or have never been diagnosed. This translates to about fifteen thousands in our area are suffering from sleep apnea. INSPIRE procedure performed by Dr. Ben Stevens has been a marvelous option for some patients so far. I see a great results every day. Also, the new medication approved for sleep apnea is another exciting option. I am happy to have more options for our patients. More options are in the pipeline.

Since I mentioned the new option for sleep apnea, I have received lots of calls asking about “Inspire” procedure”. Dr. Ben Stevens is the only surgeon in our area qualified to do the procedure. I have been following his patients after the procedure to activate the device. Patients are very happy and pleased with results. These group of patients were not be able to tolerate CPAP machines. However, CPAP machines still have been helping hundreds of patients in my clinic. I am glad to have multiple options to save our patients who were suffering from snoring, fatigue, exhaustion during the day or unable to stay awake during the day.

Our clinic will be closed Tuesday the 21st and Wednesday the 22nd. We will reopen on Thursday, 23rd ,Friday 24th and Saturday 25th of January to help all of our patients. Please call our office to reschedule your appointment.
