is a culturally grounded nonprofit organization with a mission to offer educational and mental health programs and services to children of African descent, ages 5–21, and to educate and empower their surrounding communities. The organization is deeply committed to conducting research that highlights the positive impacts of African-centered education and psychology, with the ultimate goal of enhancing the psychological, educational, and cultural well-being of Black children and families.

We stand on separation in education—because integration cost us more than it gave. It didn’t just merge systems; it eroded the capacity and confidence of African descendants of slavery to be self-sustaining.

We went from building for ourselves to depending on systems never built for us.

If the public truly understood what government officials, politicians, and corporate elites engage in behind closed doors, the fallout would be revolutionary. In Black Labor, White Wealth (1994), Dr. Claud Anderson speaks about the importance of Black people focusing on self-sufficiency and building collective strength rather than SEEKING INCLUSION into systems that don't serve their best interests.

+ pooling resources
+ supporting Black-owned businesses
+ practicing group economics and politics...

These are ways to create SUSTAINABLE power for communities.

Instead of seeking "protection" (or the illusion of it), prioritize ownership and control over our economic and social futures.
