Viola had such a fun and exciting day! After her doctor’s visit, she treated herself to a special shopping trip for Barbie dolls. What started as a simple outing turned into a big adventure and she added to her growing collection in a major way! She is now the proud owner of 200 Barbie dolls! 💖🛍️

Ed, Donald, Patrick, and Frank had a berry sweet time strawberry picking at Stewart Farms last Wednesday! 🍓☀️ They had an absolute blast filling up their baskets and couldn’t wait to dig into their fresh, delicious haul. What a fun (and tasty!) adventure! 😊

Cooking with Sharnecee! 🍝✨

Sharnecee has kicked off her 1:1 cooking class with our friends, and spaghetti was the perfect first dish on the menu! From start to finish, they put care and effort into every step, creating a meal that was not only delicious but made with love. The final result? A fantastic dish that was thoroughly enjoyed! 👩‍🍳💛

Let’s cook up something delicious! 🍽️

Last Friday in Career Readiness, our classes learned all about food safety before heading into the kitchen for some hands-on fun! Our morning class whipped up a tasty sausage casserole, while the afternoon class kept it classic with hotdogs.

Everything turned out looking amazing, and our chefs didn’t waste a second enjoying their creations. Their plates were cleaned in no time! Way to go, everyone! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Our Breakthrough Innovations Team, Sharnecee and Alex, attended the Adapted Book Workshop hosted by the SC Assistive Technology Program.

This hands-on training showed our team how to adapt books to support communication, page turning, and tactile interaction for children with disabilities. They learned different ways to make reading more accessible and engaging so that everyone is included!
