Good Thursday Morning from Scotland Family Counseling Center!

May is Mental Health Awareness Month and as we approach the end of the month, we want to take a moment to shine a light on our incredible team at Scotland Family Counseling Center (SFCC). Located at 106 McAlpine Lane in Laurinburg, our center has been a vital resource for our community since 2007 and is currently providing nearly 4,000 therapy hours annually.

At SFCC, our dedicated team of six licensed clinical mental health counselors is committed to addressing the diverse mental health needs of our community. The center offers a wide range of services, including therapy for depression, grief counseling, parenting support, and couples counseling, all tailored to meet individual needs.

At Scotland Health, we believe that mental health is an essential part of the health care continuum, and that everyone deserves access to the support they need. Let’s continue to prioritize mental well-being!

Today is my first day of retirement. But my heart is still THERE. Thank you to all who let me share in this magical journey with these exceptional therapists and friends.

Such a comfort to know that, although not present on the daily, our friendships will prevail. And that SFCC will be in outstanding hands for the chapter ahead with Kirsten Dean at the helm.

The friends of Scotland Family Counseling Center always SHOW UP in a big way, sharing time, talent, and treasure in abundant ways that never fail to humble and amaze.

The annual meeting of the Silent Samaritan Society, at the jaw-droppingly spectacular gift of the Southern Dream event venue, was beyond anything we could have ever asked or imagined. Thank you to everyone—individuals and businesses—who selflessly, sacrificially and CLEARLY again endorsed our efforts to provide exceptional, professional mental health care without regard to ability to pay.

We hear you! We’ll joyously continue our tireless work to improve the lives of individuals, families, schools, and communities with immense gratitude for the encouraging support you provide; always looking for ways to be better, to reach more, to love harder. We are buoyed by your record-breaking numbers and your record-breaking support. We hope you enjoyed the magical, moving evening as much as we did.
