Day 4 of National Nursing Home Week at Scottish Pines Rehabilitation and Nursing Center was one to remember as we celebrated our annual Noah Duncan Appreciation Day! 🩵

On this day, we honored Mr. Noah Duncan’s legacy of love, compassion, and dedication to our residents, staff, and families. The day was filled with laughter, fellowship, and fun for everyone involved.

Our residents, staff, and guests enjoyed delicious food prepared by our amazing Dietary Department, mechanical bull riding, games, a bouncy house, and live beach music from BEACH FEVER BAND that kept everyone smiling and celebrating together throughout the day. 🎶☀️

Thank you to everyone who joined us in making this day so special as we continue celebrating the spirit of community and care that Mr. Duncan inspired.

Day 3 of National Nursing Home Week at Scottish Pines Rehabilitation and Nursing Center was all about “Team Day!” 🏈⚾🏀 Staff showed their team spirit by dressing in their favorite sports team gear as we celebrated another exciting day together.

This morning, residents and staff partnered up for fun team games filled with laughter, friendly competition, and unforgettable moments. It was wonderful to see everyone cheering each other on and enjoying time together as one big family.

This afternoon, residents participated in a relaxing and creative “Paint and Sip” activity where they showcased their artistic talents by creating beautiful artwork while enjoying delicious snacks and refreshing drinks. 🎨✨

Another fun-filled day of fellowship, teamwork, creativity, and smiles at Scottish Pines!

Day 2 of National Nursing Home Week at Scottish Pines Rehabilitation and Nursing Center was all about celebrating through the decades! 🎶🕺🎤

Today’s “Decades Day” brought lots of fun as our staff dressed in styles from different eras, filling the halls with laughter, memories, and creativity.

Residents enjoyed a special visit from local storyteller Tyris Jones whose imaginative and entertaining stories brought smiles to everyone in attendance.

This afternoon, we turned back time with an exciting live performance from an Elvis impersonator, singing classic favorites that had residents, staff, and families clapping along and reminiscing. To make the day even sweeter, our Dietary Services team prepared delicious old-fashioned Coke floats for everyone to enjoy! 🥤❤️

Thank you to all of our staff and community members who continue making National Nursing Home Week so meaningful for our residents. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the week brings!

Today marked the official kickoff of National Nursing Home Week at Scottish Pines Rehabilitation and Nursing Center and what a meaningful start to a special week of celebration, gratitude, and community!

We were honored to begin the week with our Nursing Home Week Celebration & Kickoff Ceremony surrounded by residents, families, staff, volunteers, and community supporters.

A special thank you to City of Laurinburg Government Mayor James Wilis for presenting the official proclamation recognizing National Nursing Home Week, and to Representative Garland Pierce for sharing heartfelt words of encouragement and appreciation for our team and residents.

We were blessed by the beautiful voices of the South Johnson Elementary School Choir and honored by the Scotland High School JROTC who proudly presented the colors and led us in the Pledge of Allegiance.

We are also thankful for Reverend George Ellis, a beloved family member of one of our residents, who shared touching words of gratitude for the care provided to his loved one and all residents at Scottish Pines. Our volunteers also led us in prayer as we dedicated this week to celebrating the lives, stories, and care within our facility.

Thank you to everyone who helped make today so special. We are excited for the week ahead as we continue celebrating our residents, staff, and the joy of serving together! 💙

Most importantly, she always puts our residents first, delivering compassionate and quality care each and every day.

Beyond her clinical skills, Christy brings something extra special to our team—her joyful spirit! She is fun, uplifting, and creates an environment where her coworkers feel supported and at home.
