You could WIN for a $10 donation! ⬇️

For over 25 years, the family behind Bob’s Jewel Shop of Laurinburg has generously donated Hospice of Scotland County a piece of jewelry in memory of the late Bob Lawson McCabe.

The 2026 “Lawson’s Gift” raffle item is a stunning diamond pendant, featuring two natural diamonds elegantly set in six-prong vintage-style mountings. These sparkling stones are suspended from a 14 kt yellow gold rope chain, creating a timeless and classic look.

With a total diamond weight of approximately ½ carat, this pendant is not only a beautiful piece of fine jewelry—it is a deeply meaningful creation. It is one of the last pieces personally designed by Lawson McCabe, making it a truly special keepsake for this year's lucky winner. Pendant is valued at $3,500.

Every ticket purchased helps ensure that hospice patients and their families receive compassionate end-of-life care, bereavement support, and vital services—regardless of their ability to pay. Your participation honors Lawson’s memory while making an important difference in the lives of local families.

The raffle drawing will take place on May 6 during the Hospice of Scotland County Golf Tournament closing ceremony.

We are excited to announce the 40th Annual Hospice of Scotland County Golf Tournament, taking place May 5 and 6, 2026 at Scotch Meadows Country Club. This year’s format will be Captain’s Choice, and each day will function as a separate tournament—giving golfers the option to play one day or both!

Since its inception four decades ago, this premier fundraising event has been proudly sponsored by Eaton Golf Pride and hosted by Scotch Meadows. Thanks to your generosity, the tournament has raised more than $4.8 million to support compassionate patient care. Last year alone, we raised over $171,683—a testament to the incredible commitment of our community.

We invite you to join us this year as a sponsor, golfer, or silent auction contributor, affirming your belief in our mission. Your support ensures that we can continue providing exceptional care to patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses—regardless of their ability to pay. One hundered percent of all proceeds benefit patient care services.
