🌟 Here we grow again! 🌟

Leap Ahead Therapy has been so incredibly blessed with continued growth and an amazing community that keeps sending families our way. Because of that, we’re looking to add another Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to our team! 🙌💙❤️

We’re proud to serve so many wonderful kids and families, and we need more helping hands (and big hearts!) to keep up with all the new referrals coming in. 🐸

Dear families,

We want to share an important update about North Carolina Medicaid that may affect pediatric therapy services like OT, PT, and Speech. Starting October 1, 2025, reimbursement rates are being reduced by 3–10%, and many pediatric therapy services are seeing an 8% cut.

While these changes do not mean you will lose your therapy services at Leap Ahead Therapy, they could have a serious impact on the resources available to support children across the state. These cuts may affect how much therapy can be offered to children under Medicaid, as well as the broader ability of providers to serve every child needing care.

We believe it is important that legislators hear directly from families about how much these services matter. Your voice can help advocate for partial or full reversal of these cuts, ensuring children continue to receive the therapy they need.

1. Reach out to your legislators

Share your story about how therapy supports your child’s growth and daily life.

Ask them to support reversing or mitigating the Medicaid cuts for pediatric therapy services.

🎄 We love what Santa’s Little Hackers is doing — adapting toys so kids of all abilities can experience the joy of play! 🧸💖

Adapted Toy Applications Open October 15, 2025 – for ONE WEEK ONLY!

This year, the Santa’s Little Hackers application window for adapted toys will run October 15–21, 2025.

Why the change? A shorter application period gives us more time to match toys with requests and reach out to donors to fill any gaps before our big toy-adapting event in December.
