For the safety of our patients and staff, Highland Primary Care will be operating remotely on Monday, February 2, 2026, due to inclement weather conditions. Our physical office will be closed. All scheduled in-office visits will be converted to virtual appointments with our providers. If you have a lab appointment scheduled, our office will be reaching out to reschedule your appointment for a later date.

Due to our remote status, phone access will be limited. For the fastest assistance, please utilize our patient portal for messages, appointment needs, and healthcare concerns.

Office Closure Notice

Friendly reminder that our office will be closing early today, December 31, 2025, and will remain closed through January 4, 2026. We will reopen on Monday, January 5, 2026, with normal business hours.

During this time, please utilize our patient portal to communicate with your care team. While messages will be monitored, please note that response times are not guaranteed due to the office closure. Our on-call staff will respond at their earliest convenience.

As we wrap up 2025, we want to say thank you for being part of our journey. This year has been one of incredible growth—we welcomed another amazing provider, Michelle Skipper, and several new team members to our practice. Our dream team, Mary and Donna, are truly grateful for the opportunity to serve you and your family.

Friendly reminder that our office will be closed for the Christmas holiday beginning Monday, December 22nd through Friday, December 26th. We will reopen on Monday, December 29th at 7:30 AM.

If you experience an emergency or need immediate medical attention during this time, please call 911 or visit your nearest emergency room.

You may continue to use our patient portal to communicate with your care team; however, please note that our office will be closed and messages will be addressed once we reopen.

As your trusted healthcare providers, we are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to care for you and your families. We are also deeply thankful for our dedicated staff. May this holiday season be a time of reflection, gratitude, and joyful moments spent with family and friends.

It’s no secret that if you’ve ever visited our office, you know how important Kasey Crooms is to us. She plays a vital role in our day-to-day operations and has been with Highland Primary Care since the very beginning in 2016—yes, she was our very first nurse!

Today, we are thrilled to celebrate Kasey and her incredible accomplishment of graduating with her B.S. in Healthcare Administration from Fayetteville State University.🎓

While pursuing her degree, Kasey continued working full-time, completed all of her off-site clinical hours, cared for her three beautiful daughters (one of whom is graduating alongside her today!), and loved on her precious grandbaby, Kylie. If that’s not superhuman, we don’t know what is!

Kasey has always been driven, dedicated, and passionate about healthcare. We are grateful for her today and every day. Her commitment to furthering her education is just another example of how she continually strives to provide the best care for our patients.
