🏈 Sack cancer! This fall, former UGA Bulldog offensive linebacker Jordan Jenkins is leading a Sack Challenge to fight breast cancer: every time the Dawgs sack the opposing quarterback, Jenkins will donate $100 to Bulldogs Battling Breast Cancer (BBBC). BBBC is St. Mary’s Foundation’s longest and strongest partner in supporting our breast health services.

Jenkins and BBBC are challenging the community to step up the pressure on cancer. How? By matching Jordan’s pledge and donating generously for every sack the Dawgs record this season. You can pledge any amount you want – from $1 per sack to $100 or more – or you can donate a flat amount. Any gift helps advance our efforts to save women’s lives and health.

BBBC will donate all proceeds to St. Mary’s Foundation to benefit our breast health services. Past support has helped us acquire 3D mammography systems, equip our Breast Health Center, and provide free mammograms.

🌿 Highland Hills Village Dedicates Renovated Memory Care Courtyard 🌿

On July 9, our Highland Hills Village community came together to celebrate the dedication of the newly renovated Remembrance Garden at the Memory Care Center. 💚

This beautiful space, once difficult to access, has been transformed into a peaceful haven where residents can connect with loved ones and enjoy meaningful moments. The renovation was made possible thanks to generous support from David Hayes, Valerie Hepburn, the Donor Advised Fund of Valerie’s parents, and St. Mary’s Auxiliary.

🗣️ “This space was created with love and purpose,” said Mandi Haslett, HHV Director of Nursing. “It stands as a symbol of dignity, compassion and the care we strive to give every day.”

🙏 Join us in thanking everyone who made this transformation possible. And congratulations to our Highland Hills team for hosting such a meaningful and uplifting ceremony!
