If you’re dealing with shin splints… rest is not optional 👇

Shin splints (MTSS) are an inflammatory condition.

If you keep pushing through it, you’re just restarting the cycle over and over again.

👉 That’s why rest is key.

But that doesn’t mean you have to sit around and wait weeks to feel better.

Laser therapy helps:
• Increase blood flow
• Reduce inflammation
• Decrease pain
• Speed up healing

So instead of just waiting… you’re actively helping your body recover.
If you're dealing with shin pain in Lawrence, KS—let’s get you back to activity faster.

If your shin splints keep coming back… this is probably why 👇

Most people treat shin splints like a tight muscle problem.

Stretch it. Rest a little. Try again.

But shin splints are actually an overload issue—and if you don’t address that, they keep coming back.

The biggest mistakes we see:
• Running through pain
• Only stretching
• Ignoring hip strength and control

Fix those, and you’re on the right track.

If you're dealing with shin pain in Lawrence, KS—we can help you figure out what’s actually going on.

Think it’s just shin splints? Think again 👇

Not all shin pain is created equal—and some signs could mean it’s more than MTSS.

🚨 Red Flags to watch for:
• Pain that lingers after activity (more than a few minutes)
• Pain that’s becoming more constant or worsening
• Sharp, pinpoint pain in one specific spot
• Pain with walking or at rest

These could indicate something more serious—like a stress fracture 👀

👉 Bottom line:
If your shin pain isn’t improving or is getting worse, don’t push through it.

At Restore, we help you differentiate what’s actually going on and create a plan to get you back to what you love—safely.

Shin splints typically show up along the inside lower third of your shin.

Not all shin pain is the same though—location matters when determining what’s actually going on.

If it’s more pinpoint or sharp in one spot… that’s when we start asking different questions.

Shin splints… aka MTSS (Medial Tibial Stress Syndrome) 👇

That nagging pain along the inside of your shin?
It’s not just “soreness.”

It’s often caused by irritation where the muscle and fascia pull on the bone (periosteum)—leading to inflammation and pain.

📍 Most common spot?
The lower inside (medial) 1/3 of your shin

If you’re feeling this with running, jumping, or workouts…
👉 it’s your body telling you something isn’t loading correctly.

At Restore, we don’t just tell you to rest—we look at:
✔ Movement patterns
✔ Muscle imbalances
✔ Load + training errors

So we can fix the why and get you back to what you love.

Plantar fasciitis isn’t random.

If it keeps coming back, there’s a reason 👇

👉 The tissue isn’t tolerating the load you’re putting on it.

That’s where we come in.

We combine:
• Hands-on treatment
• Advanced therapies (shockwave + laser)
• Strength + movement retraining

So you don’t just get temporary relief.

Most plantar fasciitis isn’t just inflammation… it’s a load + tissue capacity problem.

If you’re:
✔️ Stretching constantly
✔️ Rolling your foot
✔️ Resting… but it keeps coming back

👉 You’re missing the root cause.

At Restore, we look at:
• Foot mechanics
• Calf + Achilles load
• Strength deficits

So you don’t just feel better—you stay better.
