Heartland Community Health Center Comprehensive primary care, dental, and mental health for all, regardless of income or insurance status. Heartland accepts both insured and uninsured patients.

Uninsured patients pay on a sliding fee scale, which makes quality care affordable at Heartland. Heartland participates in the Increase the Reach program. This Increase the Reach grant program is supported by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as part of a financial assistance award totaling $79,278,482 with 100 percent funded by the CDC/HHS. What a beautiful sunny day to celebrate recovery! Do you have a journey to share? Today we talked with a woman who is celebrating 11 years in recovery. She says the Lawrence community has been amazing at helping her stay the course!

Behavioral Health Group Lawrence Treatment Center hosted a Celebrate Recovery Parking Lot Party, where our team got to hand out some much-needed sunglasses and connect people with behavioral health resources. Thank you to all our partners for coming out!

This year's Heartland Trunk or Treat 🎃 has dozens of community trunks, mountains of candy sponsored by UnitedHealthcare, and Kansas McDonald's will be here handing out treats and partying with us!

Did you know Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health tracks respiratory illnesses in our community? Waste water is showing high prevalence of COVID-19 right now.

😷If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or other respiratory illnesses, please remember to stay home and avoid contact with others to prevent further spread.
