I want to thank all our nurses and clinical staff for everything they do each day. Healthcare is constantly evolving, and I am truly proud of and impressed daily by the way our staff adapt while always prioritizing patient care.

They demonstrate every day what it means to be mission-driven, putting our patients at the center of everything we do. The compassion and dedication they bring to their work make a difference in the lives of so many that we serve.

💙 I am so grateful for each of them.

Nearly 1 in 3 U.S. adults admit they don’t consistently wash their hands after using the bathroom 😳 (2025 survey from National Foundation for Infectious Diseases)

Hand hygiene remains one of the simplest and most effective ways to prevent the spread of illness. Here are some reminders to take to heart today.

✔ Scrub between fingers, under nails, and backs of hands
✔ Wash before eating or preparing food
✔ Wash after using the restroom, coughing, sneezing, or caring for someone who is sick

Clean hands protect patients, families, coworkers, and our community. 💙

🤔What was your answer to our Hand Washing Pop Quiz?

The sun came out and so did this community. Walkers came together on Saturday to bring light to a very important issue.

Sometimes the brightest part of the day isn’t the sun. It’s the people who care. Briley showed up in a big way, connecting people to mental health resources (and the Heartland sunglasses really came in handy) ❤️😎.

If you or someone you love needs support, call or text 988 to connect with help right away.

Andrea is a key member of our Community Health Worker team. In this clip she is talking about how she helps people apply for Medicaid, but her job is much more than that.

A group of our employees will be supporting this cause. 💚 Look for Team Heartland at the 5K next Saturday!

Meet Stan and Barb. Besides serving Care Cupboard shoppers with joy and enthusiasm, this power couple brings in fresh vegetables from Stan's garden. Barb is also a master baker and speaks some Spanish too. 🥕🥖

On top of that, Stan and Bard help recover food that would otherwise go to waste. This puts more food on tables!

We are so appreciative of volunteers like these and the huge impact they have on lives here in Lawrence, Kansas.

💬 If you are interested in volunteering with Heartland, please let us know!

What can we say about LINDSAY?
Lifts others up with her positivity
Is the one we go to when things get confusing
Notices the little things that matter
Does the hard work that keeps it all moving
Shows what it means to go "above and beyond"
Always thinking of everyone else
Yet somehow makes it look easy

💙Join us in wishing Lindsay an amazing day today.
