Watch for information coming soon!

07/24/2021

Dear friends and clients
Kaw Valley Massage is moving!
I don't know where or when yet.
The Eldridge has gently asked me to move. They need more office space and this is the only area they have to expand to.
I've started looking and if you know a great spot for me please direct message me so I can check it out.
Here's to new views and easy parking!
Thanks
Jordana

Science Rules!

Douglas County has instituted a mandatory mask policy in all public spaces
Individuals to wear a mask covering the nose and mouth when in a public, indoor space, including a retail store or grocery store, workplace and public facilities such as a community center or library.

Masks should be carefully positioned over the mouth and nose and in a manner to avoid touching or readjusting the mask until it is removed.

Masks are not required inside solitary, enclosed workspaces, like an individual’s solitary office.

Masks are not required when eating or drinking, but individuals should remain socially distanced and wear a mask unless seated at a table.

The order also allows for exemptions from wearing masks among:

People who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Children younger than five years old. Children younger than two should never wear face coverings due to the risk of suffocation.
Persons with a medical condition, mental health condition or disability that prevents wearing a face covering.
We are in this together, lets all stay healthy!

Dear clients, friends, and family of Kaw Valley Massage
Kaw Valley Massage has reopened and continues to make our space as clean and safe as possible so you can feel comfortable in your sessions.
We will offer you the opportunity to wash your hands and use hand sanitizer when you come into the office. We will all be wearing masks for appointments, if you do not have one KVM will provide one. We will also ask travel questions and do temperature checks as part of our greeting. (This will never replace a hug but it is a caring act)
If you are not comfortable attending your session because of the close nature of our work, please just let us know and we will cancel and/or reschedule your appointment.
If you’re sick, feeling unwell for any reason, or believe you may have been exposed to Coronavirus/Covid-19, please stay home and take care of yourself. We will be doing the same. We are happy to reschedule.
We are always vigilant and have strong sanitation practices in place at the office and home. We have upped our game with Sanitizers specific to SARS and Covid viruses and the use of UV light and ozone for cleaning/sanitizing
Rest assured we are keeping track of the constantly-changing world situation and the recommendations by the city, county, and CDC regarding Coronavirus/Covid-19. We will adjust protocols and procedures accordingly for everyone's health and safety.
Kaw Valley Massage is including a consent to treatment with confirmation emails. It reads as follows.
CONSENT TO TREATMENT
By arriving at your appointment you give your consent to receive treatment from Jordana Arnold of Kaw Valley Massage. You understand that bodywork involves maintaining touch and close physical proximity over an extended time period, there may be risk involved of disease transmission including Covid-19. By arriving at your scheduled appointment you have fully consented. If you cannot consent to these terms please cancel your appointment.

Dear clients, friends, and family of Kaw Valley Massage,
We hope this letter finds you well. We sure do miss seeing you.
You can be assured that we are keeping track of the constantly-changing world situation as well as any updated recommendations from our city, county, professional associations, and the CDC regarding Corona virus/Covid-19.
We have fully suspended our work at Kaw Valley Massage at least until the “Stay at Home” order for Douglas County is lifted (April 23rd), the Eldridge Hotel has re-opened, and we are assured it is safe to work with clients in a close, one-on-one setting again.

We hope you and your loved ones can stay safe and perhaps be able to enjoy any unexpected free time. We’ll be working on our piles of paper and misc, planting our gardens, cooking, sewing, and diving deeply into all of “those projects” that need doing.

We look forward to working with you again in the not-too-distant future.

Love, Peace, and Healing,
Jordana and Alison
