CANCELLATION POLICY:
We respectfully request that you provide us with a 48 hour notice of any schedule changes or cancellation requests. Please understand that when you cancel or miss your appointment without providing a 48 hour notice we are often unable to fill that appointment time. This means our other clients miss the chance to receive the services they need. For this reason, please understan
d that you will be charged a $30 late cancellation fee if a 48 hr. CHECK-IN:
We request that you arrive 5-minutes prior to your appointment time to allow time to fill out any required paperwork as well as meet your therapist, if you have booked a massage service. We understand that issues can arise that may cause you to be late for your appointment. Please call to inform us if this occurs so we can do our best to accommodate you. Appointment times are reserved for each client, so oftentimes we cannot exceed that reserved time without making the next client late. For this reason, arriving after your appointment time may result in loss of time from your appointment so that your session ends at the scheduled time. Full service fees will be charged even when sessions are shortened due to late arrival. In return we will do our best to be on time, and if we are unable to do so we will add time to your session to make up for our late arrival or adjust the service charge accordingly. FACILITIES:
Mud & Lotus Outdoor Soaking Tub and Sauna is intended to be a retreat focusing on wellness. Our services are offered for relaxation and therapeutic purposes only. We do not permit soaps, oils, essential oils, fragrances, or other products in the tubs, loud conversations, smoking, vaping, or the consumption of alcohol or other intoxicants. Guests engaging in such activity or any other activity that disturbs other guests will be asked to leave, and will be charged the full service fee regardless of the length of the session plus cleaning/repair charges. The cleanliness of the water is very importance to us and all guests are expected to shower thoroughly before entering the tub. A cleaning fee of $100 will be charged to guests who leave the tub and/or sauna in an unclean or unsanitary state. As many of our customers and employees have chemical sensitivities, we ask that you refrain from wearing fragrances at our facility. While our tub is quite large it cannot accommodate a party of greater than 750 lbs - to exceed this weight limit would displace a large amount of water, which stresses the heater and pump and also makes it impossible to fill in time for the next guest. If your party collectively exceeds the 750 lbs weight maximum we kindly request that you split your time between the tub and the sauna. SAFETY:
Our priority is the safety and wellness of our guests and employees. Intoxicated guests and others presenting any type of safety hazard to themselves or our employees will be refused service. Heat therapy may be contraindicated for some people with specific health conditions - please check with your doctor to be sure hot tub and sauna therapy are safe for you. CHILDREN:
We want to help instill the values of contemplation, health and wellness in the next generation. Children (aged 5 to 18-years old) who are able to be quiet, are fully potty trained and accompanied by a parent or guardian are welcome. Please remember that both the hot tub and sauna are very hot and may not be suitable for all children. Children are charged similarly as adults. COVID UPDATE:
We are practicing social distancing in the waiting room and we ask that you please where a mask when in common areas. We will call and prescreen all new clients and we may ask you arrive slightly earlier or later than your scheduled appointment time in order to allow time for thorough cleaning in between appointments. Any guests who have COVID like symptoms, have recently traveled or who have been exposed to anyone with COVID is requested to cancel their appointments and we will waive any late cancellation fees.
