Did you know your jaw and neck are closely connected?

The jaw joint (TMJ) works together with the muscles and joints in your neck every time you chew, talk, yawn, or even clench your teeth.

When the neck isn’t moving well, it can sometimes show up as:
• jaw pain
• clicking or popping
• headaches
• tension around the ears

That’s why when I evaluate TMJ concerns, I always look at the neck and surrounding muscles too to find the root of the problem.
