If any abnormal results are found I can refer you to a gynecologist or other appropriate specialist. Recycling the placenta back into your body after birth can help regulate milk production, speed up recovery time, reduce your risk of developing post-partum depression, and generally increase your sense of well-being. I process all the placenta remedies in your home and follow FDA ad CDC guidelines for safely handling human blood products. Placenta services can be provided to families birthing in any setting.

Announcing a new collaboration for Lilly Mason Midwife. It is with deep gratitude that I am thrilled to announce the birth of Koad Family Center. Due to generous investment from Charlotte Knoche, my mother, The Koad Family Center has been established at 515 Rockledge Rd in Lawrence Kansas.
Koad is an ancient celtic word translated into modern english as ‘sacred grove, a place of gathering for sharing knowledge’. We chose this name in honor of ancient traditions that center community. Our hope is to build this beautiful space into a gathering home for the many varied practitioners who are helping families grow.
I will be moving my practice to Koad Family Center over the summer of 2024. Home birth, organ harmonizing and placenta remedies will still be the focus of my practice. I’m also working with Melinda Lavon CPM of Bloom Midwifery and other area midwives to build a CPM student program that will allow CPM students to participate in clinical, apprenticeship training.
In addition to my practice, the family center will house Companion Midwifery owned and operated by Sus Jones CPM and Lawrence Birth and Wellness PA , a Birth Center owned and operated by Jodie Mayfield CNM. I will be working for both Lawrence Birth and Wellness and Companion Midwifery as a birth assistant.
Also on the horizon for this new space are plans for an addition that will provide teaching/event space and more treatment rooms. We have visions of being able to offer workshops, classes and a gathering space for community building around the wide and varied topic of parenthood and health keeping. We also hope that more practitioners will join us and be able to offer services in this space in the future.
Ten years of practicing at Kinetikos has given me so many wonderful connections, support and memories! I could not have asked for a better group of humans to work, collaborate, share clients and share space with. It has been a wonderful ten years and I will miss the Kinetikos community very much. Luckily our new building is right down the road and I hope to remain in close collaboration with all my friends in the Kinetikos Healing Collective.

Meet my new student Erin Lalic. She will be shadowing with me this year so you may see her at appointments. Here’s an introduction in her own words: Hi! I’m Erin Lalic (she/her) and I’m a junior at Lawrence Virtual School. I was born and raised in Shawnee, Ks, and moved to wonderful Lawrence when I was 13. I absolutely adore Lawrence and all the people here. I’m a nature girl and have a deep love for animals and plants. I’m also a blooming photographer. My heart has a special place for midwifery and I feel a strong passion for home births and postpartum care. I love kids and I have 8 younger cousins that are my whole heart! My life goal is to be a CPM and assist mothers and babies through the beautiful process of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care. I’m so thrilled to meet and learn from everyone!

This powerful, gorgeous Goddess Mama just arrived at my office today. This tile by local artist Laura Ramberg was gifted to me by Carol Marshal who does not know me, but knows I am a midwife! I am so thoroughly thrilled to welcome her to my practice. The really cosmic thing is that I have her sister tile at home, also a gift given to me by my friend and neighbor Erin Adamson many years ago. Thank you Carol, I will care for her with love. Thank you Laura for sharing your creative genius with our community. Thank you Goddess for calling me to walk this path!
