The typical "Superbugs" that we have become all too familiar with include Methicillin Resistant Staph Aureus (MRSA), and Clostridium Difficile (C. Diff), which were once considered to be acquired only in the healthcare arena, and emerging threats like Ebola, have all traveled into our communities. Public spaces such as shopping malls, grocery stores, restaurants, hospitality settings, public transportation and office spaces are prime environments that can develop a growing pathogenic problem. Addressing these needs takes an innovative approach utilizing a technology that was initially developed for national security.
