Forgetting where you placed your glasses happens to all of us.

Dementia involves more persistent changes — difficulty managing finances, confusion in familiar places, or challenges following conversations.

If something feels different, it’s worth paying attention. Early conversations allow for clarity and proactive planning.

Our team is always available to help families understand what steps might be appropriate.

Wendy Rose of Lawrence, Kan. is inspired by animals and other elements of nature to tell stories children and others young of heart can enjoy. Her painting, “If You Give a Giraffe a Paint Brush …” is just one of the works of art created by seniors 65+ featured on the collection of e-cards found at https://www.artisageless.org/e-card/.

Clear information helps families move forward with confidence. If you’d like to learn more about memory support options within your local PMMA (Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America®) community, we’re always glad to share resources.

Bob Walkenhorst gave an outstanding performance for us today!

Bob has played with his band The Rainmakers who are native to the Kansas City area for over 40 years! He came in for an acoustic solo performance today with some of our favorite 50’s and 60’s music and even shared an original song and stories from when his band was touring!
