You don’t need a break

and I know you’re probably thinking… yes I do, I’ve got so much going on that I can’t even hold myself together.

what you’re needing isn’t a “break” from it all.

you need a reset of your nervous system

not simply a moment of “relaxing” when your doom scrolling or doing something that keeps you calm when you know deep down it’s not serving you…

my client told me her favorite part of a healing session is the relaxation

of course it is, but you know what’s even better

the fact that you feel calmer, so you can respond instead of react when stressful situations happen

you feel calmer, so your mind isn’t racing and you can actually be present with your family

you feel calmer, so you can make better decisions than making them out of fear

yes you get to relax, but trust me when I say it’s so much more than just relaxing for a bit

what you need is something that goes beyond the time you’ve spent relaxing (or trying to)
