Our program believes that people are created physically and spiritually by God. Therefore, treatment needs a holistic approach to address each aspect. Secular programs often focus on the body and treat substance abuse issues only at a surface level. The problem is that addiction has deep roots, and clinical programs can miss the deeper issues of the heart. At 8Oaks, our pastoral staff walks side-by-side to help individuals find out what drove them to addiction and point them to Christ. While addictions often begin with spiritual root causes, they evolve into physical dependencies that need attention. That's why at 8 Oaks, we have a team of licensed medical professionals to help support individuals in recovery. Freedom from addiction is not found by rising up but rather by growing down. Yesterday 8Oaks got the privilege to go to Savannah TN and meet the Forakis family! This family owns Adult and Teen Challenge. They offer a year long Christian based rehab and it’s an amazing program for anyone suffering from addiction and needing help. Guys if you are in the area and need help and are serious about getting sober please reach out to this family!

Also Rent Right provided the guys with a bus and Ricks BBQ provided dinner for the guys! It’s so amazing seeing our community come together and supporting these men on their journey to recovery!!
