Drum Roll Please 🥁🥁🥁….. Introducing this month’s Employee of the Month & Resident of the Month!
MaryJo has been the activity director at PK for 14 years. Prior to that she was a school teacher for 30 years! Some of her hobbies are reading, crafting, playing sudoku and solitaire, and cooking. She loves spending quality time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Her favorite thing about Pine Knoll is finding interesting activities to enrich the residents lives. She says Pine Knoll is like a family and it is a joy to come to work every day!
Gene has been at PK for about 9 months! He just became our new Resident Council president!
He loves spending time outside watching the birds and rabbits in the garden. He also likes to watch sports on TV or listen to it on the radio. He also enjoys going to bingo or playing solitaire. His favorite thing about PK is spending time outside with friends and also the One Man Band!

This outstanding result is more than just a score, it's a testament to the high quality care we provide every day, our commitment to patient safety and well-being, and the collaborative spirit that drives us forward. Every department played a vital role in this success and we could not be more proud to have such a great and wonderful staff!

Drum roll please! 🥁🥁🥁 Introducing this months Employee and Resident of the Month, Crystal & Dave!
Crystal is an LPN and has been at PK for 18 years! She has worked in many different departments throughout the facility over her years here at PK. Her favorite thing about working at Pine Knoll is helping the residents. During her free time, Crystal likes to read and spend time with her family and she is looking forward to becoming a grandma in February!
Dave has been a resident at PK since 2019! Dave always has a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone! His favorite thing about Pine Knoll is his room and having his own space. With his free time he enjoys fixing things and doing puzzles.

Introducing our resident of the month and employee of the month for June!
Eleanor has been a resident at Pine Knoll for almost 2 years. Her favorite thing about Pine Knoll is the staff and her room. She also likes when the volunteers come in to play music. Some of her favorite things to do are play bingo and read.
Christina is a QMA at Pine Knoll, and has been here with us almost 3 years!
She says her favorite thing about working here is the residents. Christina likes to spend most of her free time with her little nephew.

Introducing… our employee of the month and our resident of the month!
Deb has been a QMA at PK for 7 years and is currently going back to school to become a RN! Her favorite thing about working at Pine Knoll is taking care of the residents. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, AKA her “ lil honey babies”.
Charlie has been at PK for 6 years and his favorite thing about PK is the people. Some of Charlie’s favorite things to do is play bingo, sit outside, and sing. Charlie always has a smile on his smile face and greets everyone as they come in the door.
Our employee of the month and resident of the month were voted on by staff and residents.
