December 11, 2015 Christmas waiting room. My children’s grandmother, Jan Fowler, had visited my office the previous day. She took one look at my Christmas tree that day and said, “Lea, this tree is pitiful! It is so out-dated.” Now, mind you, I had proudly purchased the tree and decorations she was referencing at The Gift Box in 1997! How dare she condemn that lovely tree?!?!

So, that night after work, I stripped that tree. I went to Walmart, The Dollar Tree, and The Dollar General Store. I bought all of the colored balls I could find and poured them on this tree. I called her the next day to come look, and she said she could sit and look at this tree every day until Christmas came! High praise from the lady who created the most magical display trees every year. I miss this tree and Jan Fowler.

Also, tree skirt on this tree was handmade for me by Ann Whitt, long time English teacher and ACHS guidance counselor.

Indulge me. My grandson, Beckham, had nothing but good things to say about Ashland Pediatric Dentistry after his very first dental appointment yesterday!
