We will be be contributing and volunteering for this community outreach but they are looking for more donations, if you are able or would like to contribute.

Thanksgiving is just days away, and we’re putting the final touches on our annual Feeding Those in Need event. This year, we will deliver hot meals and desserts to 1,275 community members.

But this event is so much more than a meal — it’s a gentle reminder to every person we serve that they are seen, valued, and loved. And for our volunteers, it fills the heart in a way nothing else can.

We set a goal of collecting 450 donated desserts, and we’re still about 150 short. We are truly grateful for everyone who has already signed up to help. We also understand how busy this season can be — if you’d love to support but can’t find the time, please consider a small monetary donation, and we’ll take care of picking up the desserts for you.

You can give using the PayPal link below. Just select “Feeding Those in Need” from the dropdown so we can use those funds to purchase sweet treats for our families. And don’t worry — you do not need a PayPal account to donate through this link.

Desserts can be dropped off to the Dearborn Adult Center on Tate Street in Lawrenceburg on Monday, 11/24 or Tuesday, 11/25 between 9:00am and 6:00pm.

Our Angel Tree is up and filled with wish tags for our residents who could use a little extra love this Christmas. 💖

If you’d like to brighten someone’s holiday:
1️⃣ Stop by Shady Nook and choose an Angel tag.
2️⃣ Call or text our Activity Director, Chandra, at 513-608-0561 to let her know which Angel number(s) you picked.
3️⃣ Return your wrapped gifts by December 9th with the Angel number clearly marked on the outside.
