After two decades in the fast-paced world of medical equipment sales and operations, David Butler was ready for a new kind of challenge! In April 2024, he purchased Town & Country Home Medical, a locally owned provider of home medical equipment and respiratory devices serving Lawrenceburg and surrounding counties.

The opportunity to buy an existing business, complete with inventory, clients, and a building, was promising but complex. David turned to the TSBDC for help navigating financial analysis, business planning, and the loan process. He met with the Murfreesboro Center Director, Galen Longo, and together they prepared the documentation needed for a local bank loan.

In just seven months, David was able to increase revenue by 15%, hire two additional employees, introduce new product lines, and reinvest in inventory for growth.
