May is Mental Health Month, and the Lawrenceburg Intensive Family Services staff has been planning activities at each school they serve.

Kelsey Barrett, the School-based Facilitator at Manchester Elementary School, created a pinwheel garden, where each student and staff member got to "plant" a pinwheel.

Kelsey said, "The pinwheel has long represented a positive childhood so it was perfect to match the energy I wanted to bring this month. It’s so neat to watch in the wind!"

Destini Parson is the School-Based Facilitator at Lawrenceburg Primary School: “This week are LPS we are kicking off our affirmations station and creativity board, and teachers are starting to get their mental health posters out in the hallways!! 💚 I will be handing out some goodie bags to school staff as well, with some positive notes and treats!!”
