It is with deep reflection and thankfulness that we share an important announcement.

After many years of serving Lawrenceburg and the surrounding communities, Saffell House Funeral Home has made the decision to sell our property and close our doors. This was not an easy choice, as our work has always been rooted in compassion, care, and the privilege of walking alongside families during their most difficult moments.

We want to sincerely thank every family who entrusted us with your loved ones. Your trust has meant more than words can express, and we are humbled to have been a part of your lives and memories.

Please rest assured, those who have pre-arrangements with us, you’re still in good hands. Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home has agreed to assume responsibility for those arrangements and honor your wishes you entrusted with us. If you have any questions they would be glad to help you. Your plans and peace of mind will remain our top priority as we move through this transition.

Though our time as Saffell House Funeral Home is coming to a close, our appreciation for this community will remain forever.

Adam Scott Goins, 38, of Louisville, KY, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025.
In keeping with Adam’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at North Fork Baptist Church with Brother Jay Stratton officiating.
