Yesterday, while at the post office sending out a large mailing, I offered an extra stamp to someone simply because I had it to give. This stranger was so shy to take it. The post woman said “You do need that stamp for this envelope” The woman reluctantly took the stamp. Surprised she said “Oh my goodness. Thank you so so much” “You’re welcome” as I go back to stamping my envelopes. Stranger leaves looks to me and said, “Hey thank you again”. I replied “You’re welcome, now go spread the kindness. “ “Yes. I just was thinking I should”she replied. This actually went down like this. A stranger shocked by kindness. Over 1 singular stamp. In the end she was ready to pay it forward. Be kind. It’s catchy. And we all could use it today, tomorrow and always.
