We are incredibly grateful for the support of World Peace Revival!
It's National Storytelling Week! In honor of the incredible work going on in our communities, we'll be highlighting a story from one of our nonprofit clients each day!
First up: World Peace Revival. 🤍
“You don’t realize how fortunate you are to have the support in your life that you have as a mom until you see other moms who don’t have that support.”
This reflection from Robin, Executive Director of Obria Medical Clinics in Lawrenceville, captures the essence of an organization committed to empowering mothers with the resources they need to thrive.
“Obria is here to provide women the support they need to be the moms they want to be,” said Robin. “We really try to look at whatever barriers they’re facing and knock those down.”
Its purpose is one World Peace Revival (WPR) is proud to support.
Founded with a vision to support women facing unplanned pregnancies and other life challenges, the services provided by Obria are comprehensive.
“We provide free and low-cost prenatal care. We’re the only agency in Gwinnett doing that,” Robin said. “For those who don’t qualify for Medicaid, we offer prenatal care for $1,500, spread over the course of their pregnancy.”
Additionally, Obria partners with Care Credit to offer flexible payment plans, ensuring no woman is turned away due to financial constraints.
