David Adam Majofsky, 90, of Lawrenceville, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by his beloved family on March 29, 2026.

David was the son of the late Andrew Majofsky and Barbara Helleis Majofsky of Trenton, NJ, both born in German Hungarian villages on the Danube River in what is now Serbia and immigrated to the USA in the early 1900s. His grandparents were Lorenz and Barbara Blank Helleis, of Bucks County, PA.

Born in Trenton, NJ during a major snowstorm in 1936, David grew up in the Chambersburg section of the city and attended Immaculate Conception Elementary School. As a youth, David was a member of the Arbeiter Society (German Club) in Trenton and enjoyed close-knit family ties with the Majofsky/Helleis/Bauer families.

David graduated from Trenton Junior High #4 and Trenton Central High School. David was on the honor roll throughout junior high and high school and served as co-editor of his high school newspaper that received The International Honors Award in 1953. After high school, David graduated from Trenton Jr College and then transferred to Kansas State University where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.

David began studying music and stringed instruments (bass and viola) as a child – a passion that would remain a significant part of his life until he was no longer able to transport the very large instrument that he loved. Over the years, David played bass with several orchestras, including the Trenton Youth Orchestra, the University Civil Orchestra (Kansas State University), the Lower Merion Symphony, under conductor Dr. Sherman Leis; and, most recently, the Lawrence Reading Symphony Orchestra.

David’s community service began in his early years, when he, along with eight other musicians, performed a concert to benefit the YMCA in Trenton, NJ at St. Stephen’s Church. His philanthropy continued throughout his life, as he was a lifelong supporter of many religious and charitable organizations.

After college, David served in the 78th Regiment of the US Army. As sergeant, David was awarded “Soldier of the Cycle” in July 1966 at the Regiment Armory in Trenton, NJ. David served as drill instructor and was honorably discharged from the US Army in 1967. David was a very proud veteran of the Cold War/Cuban Missile Crisis era and wore his US Army hat until the day he passed. David loved his country and supported many US military branches. He had a hat representing every branch of the US military that he proudly wore to show his support.

Following his service to the country, David accepted employment as a civil engineer for the NJ Department of Transportation (Ewing, NJ), where he worked as a principal highway engineer and then supervising engineer until his retirement in 2001.

David lived a happy, full life, contributing actively and generously to country, community and family. He served Lawrence Township for many years as a volunteer worker for county, state and federal elections; he served on the Board of Directors of the Lawrence Senior Center in the capacity of Board Secretary until his passing; he was a member of the Saturday Evening Dance Club, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, the German-American Club, the Loyal Order of Moose, and the Knights of Columbus.

Of all the roles that David held in life, perhaps his favorite “job” was that of stage manager/assistant to his beloved wife, Rose, of whom he was immensely proud. David was truly the wind beneath Rose’s wings for all her Cameo Club performances. As such, David was very proud to be one as the “Cameo Club Boys”. David was an accomplished dancer himself, enjoying ballroom dancing, swing, line-dancing, and Hawaiian dancing.

For decades, David and his wife Rose enjoyed traveling to Florida to spend time with their friends, attending the Mets spring training every year in Port St. Lucie, and converting to an avid Mets fan because he valued his life.

David was a bibliophile like no other. His book collection rivaled the county library. David also loved ships and has many beautiful ship models that he built with precision.

David was predeceased by his grandparents Lorenz and Barbara Helleis; his parents, Andrew and Barbara Helleis Majofsky; and his beloved first wife, Barbara Ann McDonough (nee Murphy), who passed away in 1979.

David is survived by his beloved wife, Rose (Raymond Serinaldi) Majofsky; his stepchildren, Claire Rose Hamm (Kim) of Ewing, NJ and Michael J. Serinaldi (Linda) of Texas; his grandchildren, Nicole Serinaldi (Justin) of Colorado; Daniel M. Serinaldi (Jory) of Texas; Dana R. Hamm of Ewing, NJ; and Kristopher E. Hamm of Ewing, NJ; two great-grandchildren, Michael Norman Serinaldi and Madelaina Sophia Rose Serinaldi, both of Texas; sister-in-law, Clara J. Stefane of Ewing, NJ; and many very special nieces and nephews whose love and support have been truly appreciated.

David is also survived by cousins Dennis J. Bauer (Donna); Susan Vaughan; Lea Hepler (Thomas); Daniel Penrith (Terry); Thomas Majofsky (Paula); Stephen Majofsky; George Majofsky (Elba); Carolyn Majofsky; and Kathleen Majofsky; and stepchildren from previous marriage, Patricia Slane (Alton) of PA; Barbara Kessler (Richard) of NY; and Roger Timothy McDonough (Darlys).

Todd Patrick Willever, 55, of Columbus, NJ, passed away with his family at his side on Monday, March 9, 2026 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center, Trenton, NJ.

Born in Trenton, NJ, Todd was a former resident of Hamilton Township and Trenton before moving to Columbus. He was a graduate of McCorristin High School, Class of 1989. He is a retired Deputy Chief with the Trenton Fire Department after 29 years of dedicated service. Some of his hobbies included golfing, hunting, snowboarding, fishing, the Mansfield 10 Fantasy Football League, and coaching his children’s teams. He played ice hockey for the fire department and golfed with several groups, including the Choppers and the Trenton Mad Dog Golf Club.

Todd began his fire service at the Mercer County Airport Fire Department then joined the Trenton Fire Department in 1994.There, he worked his way from Probie to Deputy Fire Chief. While he loved every assignment, some of his fondest memories came from his long tenure as a Captain of Engine 3. He often talked about the brotherhood and camaraderie that made this house on South Broad Street his second home. He enjoyed training his crew, working in the community, and the occasional prank. He also tutored for Ignite Promotional Coaching to help his fellow firefighters grow and advance their careers.

Todd loved to give back, often volunteering with the Nicky Fifth Foundation, the Capital City Community Coalition, the NJFMBA, and the Old Barracks Museum. His greatest love, however, was his family. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for Lisa, Jessica, Patrick, and Tim. From annual New Hampshire ski trips to summers with their RV, Todd lived to make family memories. In 2024, they welcomed their beloved puppy, Linny, a puggle who remained faithfully by his side and, more specifically, on his lap.

On May 4, 2022, Todd was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM), a lethal brain cancer with a 10-15 month prognosis. He underwent extensive brain surgery and shocked everyone when, two weeks later, he was back on the golf course. He completed treatments at UPenn, while also a patient of UCLA, and returned to the fire department until his retirement in 2023. In August 2024, after a small recurrence, Todd and Lisa drove cross country for a 3-month DCVAX immunotherapy clinical trial with renowned UCLA neurosurgeon, Dr. Linda Liau. For 46 months, Todd battled brain cancer like he approached life, fearless and with grit and determination. This treatment allowed him to see Patrick and Elizabeth get married, watch two seasons of Tim kick for The College of New Jersey Football team, and see Jessica and Mike get married.

Son of the late Clifford, Jr. and Patricia Willever; he is survived by his loving wife of 28 years Lisa nee Funari Willever; his adoring children Jessica and Mike Moore, Patrick and Elizabeth Willever, and Tim Willever; his siblings and their spouses Cliff and Kim Willever, Tammy and Henry Angelucci, Susan Masterpole, and Judy and Rich Piotrowski; his father-in-law and mother-in-law Reynold and Lorraine Funari; brothers and sisters-in-law Anthony and Faustiene Funari and Paula and Mike Agabiti, grandmother-in-law, June C. Born in Trenton and raised in Lawrenceville, Dan was a graduate of Notre Dame High School. He continued his education at Belmont Abbey College, earning a degree in Political Science. While at Belmont Abbey, Dan discovered what would become one of the great passions of his life—golf—after joining the Golf Club.

Following college, Dan served as an intelligence agent in the Air National Guard. He continued to work alongside his father at the family business, Alma Offset Printing Company, where he led sales and marketing and ultimately retired as president after 50 years.

Dan was a man of many talents and interests. An avid sports enthusiast, he also had a deep appreciation for music and played the guitar, banjo, and harmonica. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting trips with his father, uncle, and other family members. His love of the outdoors took him on fly-fishing adventures from the Bahamas to the distant waters of Christmas Island. At home, he found peace fishing and crabbing on his boat in Barnegat Bay.

For over 45 years, his beach house on Long Beach Island became a beloved gathering place he shared with family and friends. Countless memories have been created there, each one a testament to Dan’s generosity and legacy.

Golf remained a steadfast passion throughout Dan's life. He traveled widely to play prestigious courses in South Carolina, Arizona, Mexico, Bermuda, and the world-renowned Pebble Beach. He was a member of Trenton Country Club before becoming one of the original members of Old York Country Club, his “second home.” There he won numerous tournaments, including Club Champion. Dan often said, “Golf is the barometer of life,” believing that when your golf game was good, life tended to follow.

Norman Warren Fesmire, Jr. passed away quietly and peacefully at the age of 83 on January 29, 2026 in the Hospice Unit of RWJ Hospital following a long and brave battle with Parkinson’s Disease.

He was born on September 12, 1942 in Abington, PA. Norm graduated from Abington High School in 1960 and Franklin and Marshall College in 1964 and became a Member of the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity, Upsilon Chapter. After his college graduation, he and his younger brother, Mark, spent the summer touring the states as far as California.

He attended the United States Naval Officer Candidate School in Newport, Rhode Island, graduating in March, 1965, an Ensign, trained at Pensacola, Florida, and Glynco, Georgia, where he received his Commission of Lieutenant. He was certified in AEW/ECM training (Airborne Early Warning radar and Electronic Countermeasures). Norm was sent to Southeast Asia in March of 1966 and completed 20 flights on combat missions in an active combat area and was awarded two Air Medals for combat missions flown in Vietnam. He became a Navigation Aviation Instructor involving weather reconnaissance (hurricane hunters) in Pensacola where he met his future wife, Georgia Holzworth. On March 22,1969 he and Georgia were married at NAS (Naval Air Station) Chapel. NAS Pensacola is best known for the precision-flying team known as the Blue Angels. Following Norm’s military discharge, they moved to New Jersey to begin raising their family. They have three sons, Douglass, Michael, and Peter. Norm was incredibly proud of his children and the warm-hearted, caring adults they have become. They have two grandchildren, Lucas and Mae, whom he cherished.

Norm was a member of the New Jersey Chapter of the Sons of the Revolution. His relative, Jacob Castor, fought in the Revolution in 1776 for American Independence. Thus began Norm’s love of history; he became an avid reader of that time period.

Norm had a satisfying and successful career as Project Manager working for the Budd Company manufacturing high-speed railcars for Amtrack in Philadelphia, PA. When the plant closed its doors, he was recruited by ABB (Asea Brown Boveri) and spent several years commuting to Elmira, NY. He was also employed by Sumitomo Corp. based in Washington D.C. Norm began his own business, NWF Transportation Consulting, Inc. which afforded him vast travelling experiences. He and Georgia travelled to many countries such as France, Sweden, Prague, Australia, and Italy over his lengthy working career. His weekends were highlighted with coaching soccer games on the fields in Pennington. His world revolved around these games which he loved. He very often stood by the fence during game time to get as close to the action as possible when not coaching.

Norm found time to pursue his favorite hobby, painting in oils. He was a member of Artist’s Choice painting group of Pennington, and looked forward each week to joining his fellow artists, even when his Parkinson’s was presenting difficulty. He was always buoyed by the group’s support and camaraderie.
