I want to honor the memory of my late former husband of 21 years, Tony Jones, a remarkable individual whose impact extended far beyond the football field.

Tony was not just a stellar athlete and leader on NFL teams like the Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens, and back to back, Super Bowl-winning Denver Broncos. He was a dynamic force off the field, dedicating himself to our Sugarloaf Country Club and Gwinnett football communities, ect. Under his guidance, numerous players he coached went on to become college stars and then successful NFL players.

However, it's the countless lives he touched daily in the Gwinnett County Barber industry that stand as a testament to his legacy. Tony was a trailblazer in this field as well.

His Exquisite Cuts Barbershop became the birthplace of many exceptional barbers who continue to excel in the Atlanta market. His unwavering commitment to a strong work ethic, reminiscent of blue-collar dedication and giving spirit left an indelible mark on not only the barbers but also everyone fortunate enough to know him, including his three children, Tony Jones, Jr. (J.R.), Kameron Jones, and Kamilla (Nique) Jones.

The impact of Tony's life and work is a shining example of Black Excellence.
